In 1984, there are 3 main countries frequently mentioned, Oceania, Eurasia, and Eastasia. I was wondering if other countries in South America, Africa and Australia have any significance.

In 1984, there are 3 main countries frequently mentioned, Oceania, Eurasia, and Eastasia. I was wondering if other countries in South America, Africa and Australia have any significance.

Africa is largely disputed territory, Australia and New Zealand are part of Oceania. I don't recall South America specifically, but I'm thinking it's also Oceania as Eastasia and Eurasia are confined to the Eurasian continental land mass and the nearby islands.

I think that the people on those lands are called the coolies and the are used to make goods.
