My old music teacher would like a poem reading at her funeral (not for some time I hope!) but can only remember the last verse of a 2 verse poem. She doesn't know the poet or the title.
The 2nd verse is:
Life hath its changes
Its springtime, hope and joy
Before we learn annoy
Then swift it ranges through summers' heats and blights
our passions and our slights
Till winter, unrelentful
At distance frowns severs
but let us banish fear
Bless'd and contented
To wither without giref
Like autumn's golden leaf
