Fortified

silence
in a dark room!
In the distance
a clock ticks
mounting tensions
with each finger-
stroke
waiting to
crack
wide open
the old wounds.
I stand
holding back
the flood gates
of torrent
emotions.
A typhoon
string
beneath
the surface
You brought
chaos
in the world
and now
wait!
You prepare
to unearth
yourself
tremors
in dawning
moments
but it's
imperative

stake down
lance through
