I love silence
If I could I would marry silence
Take it’s sweet bouquet in my arms
And lead it down the isle,
Through the doors of longing
Into the realms of bliss.
I love silence
It surrounds me
When the traffic of my mind
Drifts away.
This is my wedding vow to silence
When the morning comes
You drift away
I’ll seek you in the libraries
And other such prisons of dreams
I will seek but I shall not find
Until it is dark
And you return to my hopeless arms
In your torn wedding gown
If I could I would marry silence
Take it’s sweet bouquet in my arms
And lead it down the isle,
Through the doors of longing
Into the realms of bliss.
I love silence
It surrounds me
When the traffic of my mind
Drifts away.
This is my wedding vow to silence
When the morning comes
You drift away
I’ll seek you in the libraries
And other such prisons of dreams
I will seek but I shall not find
Until it is dark
And you return to my hopeless arms
In your torn wedding gown
