I want to put your beauty
in this poem jar
and keep it on my desk.

I can use the poem's title
as a lid,

but if I put holes
in the lid
so your beauty
can breathe
it would look like this: oPoeomoJoaoro

It started so tenderly then ended as an "O" poem.... very funny! I suddenly heard the song O Sole Mio in my head! Nice one!

The beauty of it is, for me, in the way it begins as seemingly the most artless declaration of love, then turns light at the end, that lightness approximating the weight of your heart as you think of her.
