The hand stretches out to stabilize on the table.
Subsequently falling into a cool pool of water.
A verdant lily pad floating down stream with a little frog atop,
It tugs at the limitation of its stem and root.
And a cadaver drifts by becoming lost in the twirls of the spinning swirls.

The wind continues to blow across tree tops.
It’s hot as the leaves glide across the window pane.
Below the grass is flattened.
The dog stands at the door and incessantly barks.

In the midst of all this Halloween,
The day, the weather, and the banging chimes on the side of the house.
Nothing will stop the observer from sitting patiently and waiting to see what will happen next in this sublime world.
And this I will do for myself alive.

The last stanza is really moving. The line “Nothing will stop the observer from sitting patiently and waiting to see what will happen next in this sublime world” is really absorbing

Excellent poem. The long line, Nothing will stop the observer from sitting patiently and waiting to see what will happen next in this sublime world is very effective before the last and perfect line.

Sometimes they do, each line falling, like a perfect petal into the water, there to float and swirl and make us happy, much like your poem, jersea.
