I suggest that the administration post "The Metamorphoses" from Ovidius, this has many of the famous popular tales of the Ancient Greece, one of my favorite tales is the one of "Pyramus and Thisby" and is played in Midsummer Night's Dream.
If we see the historical cronologies, "The Metamorphoses" can be considered an important source of learning more about the Greek legends and the most beautiful stories of that era :D .
