onto the chair Slurkie leaps
She rubs my leg
hypnotic emerald gaze
soft green fire ablaze
she pads me with her paw

a snakelike curling tail
flicking side to side
I hear her purrfect song
she springs and is gone
Stretching at the door

Let meowt!

She arches her back
and circles round
ears twitching at every sound

she rubs my leg
till her exit is sure
where she runs to her bowl
and demands from me more.

Bad wordplay with "purrfecct", but I like the "let meowt!" since it's more original. Overall I love it as an ode to our feline friends. I've always loved cats but could never own them because of allergies. I'd always go to my grandma's and play with her cats until my eyes swelled and my nose clogged up and ran but damn how I loved those cats!
