When mingled thoughts I thus convey,
Or pencil what my heart doth say.
When knowing none can thus reflect
For who can pen hearts’ intellect?

You'll naturally get some opponents for using archaic diction/grammar (thus, doth, etc.) and I tend to only support it when you want to bring a bit of neo-classicism or sense of remoteness to the piece and I really don't think it was needed here. I like the thoughts, but maybe try to render it in a more original way.

I disagree with the previous post. The diction is just right, sets the tone for the whole of this and especially for the unexpectedly serious last line.

I like it very much because the use of such grammar is like its crowning glory. It enables to express in a way that contemporary English may limit.

I wrote some poems Chaucer style and found such great pleasure in speaking my heart via this medium.
