our courting ways
are captured in memory
like a silent movie reel
to play over in my mind
where no talking pictures feel
the murmur of my heart as
you dance across these bleary eyes
Hear the piano improvise
your expression speaks so much more
than words can say
I will revel forever in those romantic days

As usual, very lovely. I love the selective use of rhyme. The whole piece has a subtle, building rhythm; almost as if it's going from a still photograph to the "silent movie reel" you mention.

Congratulations for this poem, this "dancing" rhythm, the rhyme scheme is particularly good. ;)
