Celibates and Hypocrites

The world is really a big stage and we all are actors, to borrow the idea from William Shakespeare. A man has different roles-first as a son then as a husband and will have to father little ones and likewise grandchildren and the like. That is how the world goes round and round eternally and we are here for the same reason.

Somebody advocates for celibacy. Of course indoctrinated into sets of ideas proliferated by Gurus, Pundits he too assimilates his ideas and stamp it with scientific reasoning, empirical ideas.

I now try to be conclusive on my ideas about celibacy. You have a mouth that needs to be stuffed with foods, and water. You breathe in and out using your nostrils, hear things, soothing, irritating, romancing, emotionalizing thru your ear-holes. You feel when you touch with your fingers and sensations go on.
Now you have a fair lady. She is beautiful and she has glands of sex and you too have and both have desires. You marry her and beget babies together. Now suddenly you read the article of Mahatma Gandhi and follow his track, for he too deserted his wife. A misunderstanding crops up between you two. And a conflict in due course.

This is pretense. We dreams wild dreams and move with girls of our choices and there is no check there and even you will cross limits put on you by your codes of religions. Your unconscious become on the go and your conscience or consciousness sleeping. That is what you are in substance and in your wakefulness you want to be what you are not and your bodily structures and the pressured put on you by your Gurus will be in conflict. That will stress you out. And abuse, misuse, disuse of things to be averted. Of course sex is a thing to be used in a balanced way. Somewhere I choose the Buddhist way, though I am not a religious sectarian. The Buddha said the Middle Path.

Men follow celibacy and chastity and animals do not. We do not know single animals following celibacy and this is an offshoot of some intellectuals who got indoctrinated into this baseless thought by some Gurus or cults or books whose foundation is shaky. It is likened to walking with your feet and seeing with your eyes, crushing with your teeth or breathing. All natural processes. It is nature’s requirements, and nature satiates its desires or accomplish its elemental motives or impulses through you and you are just an agent and you cannot disobey or reject the command of nature, and maybe God. God wants creation to continue. All these popes, priests, Pundits who abhor sex are conceited people. They are barricading the interminable flow of creation. How can myriad acts of creation to continue if you advocate against mating in a balanced way

You can't derive any moral significance out of how the natural world works. This is the naturalistic fallacy, for nature to have some intended meaning you have to admit the existence of a creator into the equation. You then have to demonstrate that you can predict the intentions of that creator, the intentional fallacy.

Animals also engage in rape, discriminate killing, incest, and in the case of bonobo chimps, pedophilia. I don't think you would propose that we should emulate these behaviors. Often when someone makes an appeal to the natural, they are truly just making a subjective value judgment of what they think is natural. I can find no reason to see inherent good in nature.

I would say it would be a good thing for a man to resist a natural urge to rape, so I don't think I could then say that it would be wrong for someone to resist all sexual behavior for personal reasons. Ultimately, this is a personal decision that I don't think is a moral issue at all. It does no harm to anyone to choose not to reproduce. Especially in a world as overpopulated as ours.

I don't think the Buddha would agree with you. After all, he was an elective celibate.

Also, aren't you asserting the opposite of celibacy in a way that seems to stifle choice. I agree that no-one should be forced to be celibate just as no-one should be forced to procreate. It's down to personal choice.
