How/where do you read books?
-Do you buy them from bookstores?
-Do you borrow them from libraries?
-Do you use the ebooks on this site?
Or have you done any of them?
And where/how do you read books, without any distractions?

I'm not big on ebooks, I find it hard on the eyes.

I buy a good deal of the books I read, but when I'm feeling poor I use the library.

I like to read before going to bed, I sometimes like to read during commercials while watching TV also ;)

True that, can't stand TV at the best of times, but the next time I am watching. I will read through the adverts as well. Good tip Orphanpip.

Does anyone listen to audiobooks?

I've never bought an audiobook, but there's a website called librivox.org that is producing recordings of open source text, they rely on volunteers so the quality isn't always the greatest, but I know someone who loves it.

The e-books on this site are why I'm here. Public domain. A lifetime of free entertainment.

I go to the library quite a bit now. I love the library... I just laughed... It's a nice place to read. I met a french arborist there. I saw The Fountainhead audiobook the other day. If I check it out it would be my first. Would I just sit down and stare at a wall while it played? I guess I could just shut my eyes and treat it like music. It's like talk radio. I've never liked talk radio...

I don't like reading in the same place all the time. I don't always mind extra noise or interruptions from dogs... unless they're dirty.

Buy books? Only when I have spending money.

Yeah, I have heard of librivox too.
I borrowed the book I am reading now from the library, but our library over here is quite small so there isn't very much option. So I might download an audiobook or two from librivox or read an ebook on here.

Is your local library in a small town?

Used to read ebooks/Bought books.
Now only borrow since we have a pretty good library at university and also a nice city library.
