We quarrel
in the dawn turnover of
nightcrawler to bluebird
of moon crater to sun spot
of preterit raven to primitive rooster

and again in the dusky shift of
cadaver to inkling - the rumble
of bat and dove wings dueling
seraphim -

and every halfway the pheon pivot
in a bonfire volley between
source and echo

the birds and movement themes are just like ghosts, with their ether, light as feathers; and dancing, intertwining light, that persists, like writing... nice
