Behind the Veil

Her eyes peer out from beyond the veil
for all she would conceal in her veil

Slowly the alabaster will crack
and her tears replace the veil

Sad eyes watch a falling world
her lies become a new veil

Hiding her true face
she is protected behind the veil

Shattered she collects the pieces
with the last drop of the veil

I have always loved poetry that has a repeating phrase or looks at a fixed point from different views, Excellent!
