Well...one day in my workplace really got spare time and browsed throught some immense number of books on the Project Guttenberg, and one particulary remains in my memory...it was about a French woman who married an Englishmen, who was a painter; the peculiarity of the situation was that they lived on an island on a lake

then my question is what is the title and author of this book,- because I keep these images in my memory but cannot find it in the vast and spacious Guttenberg--somebody help me, please
