Don Cossack Information (Help)

I am trying to find out what rank etc my grandfather was. He was a Don Cossack and came out to Australia. He was the President of the Don Cossack Society (I think during the 60’s) in Sydney and I have all the transcripts from all the meetings except they are in Russian and I can't read russian. I have a photo of his uniform and if anyone could help me with any information I would appreciate it or if you can point me in the right direction. Please messgae me and I can send the photo. Thanks

Your grandfather might have been Atman or Hetman. That was a title for leaders of cossacks.
