Today all nations have their gods, and there are so many gods, goddesses, deities, angels, demigods and the like. And only we homo-sapiens believe in supernatural beings; animals do not care about who created this world and where do they go after death. Are we more knowledgeable on the facts of life or the meaning of life than animals who have no education. They use biological instincts, and they do not worry about or unnecessarily do not stress their minds. They do not care how big the world is. They eat when they get hungry and mate to beget babies and do not indulge in things that are not necessary to maintain their lives. They do not hoard things and do not care about whether they will have to die. Man alone is sad about the fact that he has to die, and of course he has to die, but he dies before natural death. Man’s ability to think has made him miserable. With his all knowledge, scientific research or hypotheses men are equally ignorant about the universe he is in as his counterparts animals are. This world is really mysterious, and man alone with his thinking powers or rationality are worried about the fact that he will die or he that he has not seen God or he wants to be blessed. Religions or people’s faiths have undergone dramatic change over millenniums. We do not think the way our ancestors did. We do not rush to witchdoctors if someone falls sick thinking that he is possessed by some evil beings. We hardly think we will have to pray or sacrifice a goat at the feet of the Goddess Kali if want to have some success in life. We know that hard work pays ultimately and we choose to work hard. In this way we are less doctrinaire or orthodoxy than our forefathers. We do not perform worships in the degree and manner our grandparents did. Yet somewhere deep down we too live with the same fear, insecurity and uncertainty as our predecessors lived with in point of fact. Our beliefs, ideas or modes of thinking have not changed dramatically with advancements in science and technology; they have simply evolved or got refined over time.
