Everyone has some weaknesses, and it is natural that no one is perfect and faultless. And of course when it comes to rote-memorizing texts I turn up weak and I have to give reading to pacify my nerves. Others may have some particular weaknesses and as such having a weakness is a natural propensity. But there are other weaknesses that are more noxious, like when we see something under others’ custodies we cannot restrain ourselves and we become thieves as a result. When we see things of beauty and we know that we must not trespass the domain of it on the ethical ground we cannot contain ourselves as a matter of fact. We know the case of Helen and Troy. How Helen eloped with someone in her husband’s absence. She loves her husband but the frailty in her of a woman becomes manifest and she listened to her biological instincts and became blind to ethicality.
Deep down we all have weakness for something, and needless to say there are funny weaknesses with us, and if our moral laws do not censor we would do funny things. Children are indefensible and adults too are vulnerable to many things. We kind of try to deify ourselves, idealize certain ideas or philosophies and live up to them accordingly. In good times we all are idealists, and in bad times or in difficulties we are realists. We have read that in times of famine when the world becomes empty of food grains, people become prepared to eat even human flesh. This sounds unpalatable but this is the truth we must digest in life. Some people are saints, others are culprits, and as a matter of fact culpability, blameworthiness is not something we are devoid of, just these propensities are unmanifested.
I suppose people share their funny weaknesses and I will do the same in the same vein
