Hello everyone. I just finished reading everything is illuminated by Jonathan safran foer and I don't even know where to begin.
If you haven't read the book, don't read this thread any further. GET THE BOOK AND READ IT.
If you have ever read this book, please share with us what symbolism you noticed and what it meant. There was so much to take in. So many anomalies that I couldn't figure out. The book left me feeling desperate and enlightend. It was incredible.moving. hilarious. lovely and tragic all at once.
Some questions I have are
What did it mean when said all she wanted to know was how he organized his books?
Why did he use two pages to write : we are writing?
What do you think comes after the last line "and I will"
Im trying to understand something that is so beautifully intricate that I feel its almost impossible to decipher..
