Does anyone know where the following passage is from? I have it written down under the initials D.A. but have no idea who that is! Thanks.
"I'll remember how we loved, hot and smoking as the Caribbean sun, and the blues will settle in my ribcart like a fog, my spirit blight, my shanties rot. Days will drag their carcasses on forever, dull as ditchwater, blank arrays. Then loss will jimmy my bones apart, til I die from the draft in my heart."
