He demands I pay my rent on time even though He takes his time on repairs.

He demands I pay my rent on time even though He takes his time on repairs.Wish it was only that!

He comes and stones your windows, ransacks whatever little you might manage to gather for yourself, causes such destruction that the property becomes inhabitable... And then claims that he does these things because you haven't been good in the first place... or even better, claims that just it is all to see how the tenant will cope with the havoc he creates.

Of course, the metaphor presumes that the landlord does actually exist and did build the house...

Does he make you pay by cheque or cash?

At least we have stabilized rent, don't we?

He wants cash, but I don't trust Him, so I pay with a check just in case I have to take Him to court. Never trust His Word.;)
