The Blog and Profile of the Year Nominations!

The Lit Net Monthly News will be one year old in November and to celebrate a successful first year, we are asking YOU to nominate and vote for YOUR favourite Blog and Customised profile.
In the month of September, we will open up the nomination period. Please forward your nominations to me via PM.
In October the top ten nominated will be added to a poll for you to vote. Voting closes the end of October.

The rules are simple;
-You can not nominate/vote for yourself.
-Once you have nominated/voted you will not be allowed to change your choices so be very sure of your choices.
-Any members found to be requesting other members to vote or nominate for them will be disqualified from being in the run for Blog and Profile of the year.
-Forum members are requested to not alter their profiles during this two month period, especially if theirs is one of the final top ten. Your profile may have been been nominated for a certain reason and alterations may remove this reason. Of course if yours is not one of the final ten, you can continue to alter to your hearts content.
-This is open to ALL forum members who have above 50 posts.
-If any member wishes to be exempt from the Blog of the Year and/ or Profile of the Year, please let me know in the next few days so i can put a list here for the rest of the Litnet community to know.

So the polls will be on October 1st starting? When will they end? I was just thinking how so many people like to change their page for fall or Halloween. I hope we can still do so. Will the pole run a whole month? If they do, I might consider being exempt. I will let you know when you tell me more of the details - ok?

I kind of thought that voting would not end till end of October. I guess we are still able to change our avatars to a Halloween theme, right? Since my page was nominated I feel quite honored and will keep the same design for now. I can change it prior to Christmas. Hey, less work for me and I sort of like my current page anyway, since 'Eternal Spring' is always in my heart. So, thanks for letting me know and I will stay in the competition.

I have been checking out profile pages in order to make a nomination. Where do I send it to once I decide? I do have a few inmind but it's one nomination per person, right? I will get some of my friends to nominate, as well, if possible. Give us a little time. I was out most of last week and this coming week is an appointment nightmare, too.
