Hey,
Check out my new poem. As always, I really welcome your comments and criticism...
The Stranger
It lingers like shards of cast down magic,
With its entire Majestic Float of unprecedented trials,
Of mine Catch of Life, of the delicate havoc
As it deems the Self of me with intricate lively wiles.
But in the day when a stranger infiltrated mine home,
And stepped o’er the Blue Flowers that were to bloom,
Mine Drift of Existence passed like a gleam of light,
Only then had I realized that he had had home for the night.
It comes like naughty needles of plagued disease,
Uttering to Mine Waft of Being, and begging, “Please,
Take the stranger home, and bade Him farewell,
Otherwise, he will have children and his multi-self will dwell and swell."
I recall the Marshy Lake blossoming with unthinkable smell,
But I clearly recall the Reeking Heart of the stranger, I can tell
You he had no pride in bathing in our Marshy Lake
That hath no whiff, like him, of parasitic, hateful snake.
Regards,
