I'm currently soing Oedipus for my V.C.E English subject and can anyone tell me where or what 'birs-lore' is please?
I would really appreciate the help that I get for this.

Thanks for telling me what the meaning of or what 'bird-lore' was, as I really had difficulty trying to understand what that term/word was.

May I ask you more questions on Oedipus Rex?, because certain other quieries about the novel may pop up in my head.

bird-lore is knowledge and traditions possessed by a particular group of people. it is folk wisdom,remembered not written, in the past. every country has its bird-lore.

dear improvisator,you are welcome to ask more questions about oedipus rex. it is one of the finest greek plays written by sophocles.there are some beautiful and impressive lines such as when the blind prophet says, 'TO BE WISE IS TO SUFFER'

my pleasure, Improvisator. :) this wasn't something i'd thought to ask about and it's always nice to learn new things.

sorry that i didn't see your reply; you can ask more questions, but i returned my copies or donated them (i think) not sure which. i'll check at my old place this weekend .
