Hello everybody,
I am a critic, essayist, translator, teacher and organiser of intercultural dialogues.
I was born at Kamarkhali in the district of Faridpur of Bangladesh. I graduated with honours and completed my Masters in English form Rajshahi University. Since January 1990, I had been teaching in different colleges, with a few exceptions of about two years. At present I teach at a university.
My fields of interest are critiquing fiction and analyzing education system. I have ten books along with a good number of articles to my credit.
I have been working as a Mondialogo Teacher and attended the Rome Symposium from 4-7 November 2006 as a result of being the finalist in Mondialogo School Contest 2005-2006 conducted by UNESCO & Daimler. Later on my I led another team in Mumbai Symposium in December 2007.
I am a Nazrul enthusiast and authored four books on Kazi Nazrul Islam, the national poet of Bangladesh. I am now trying my best to work for Bangladesh Literary Resource Centre (BLRC), a non profit literary organisation.
I believe this new forum will be a helpful place for me.
