Untitled
haunting sweetly
calling my name
in dreams you beckon me
remember
lovely essence
light of heart
missing presence
remember
empty heart
full of chagrin
no second start
remember
two souls regret
times long past
universal way forget
remember

This poem has special meaning for me in that I wrote it after the death of someone very close to me. Because of that you may not understand the personal significance it has, but I would still welcome all comments and critiques :)

On your knees praying
feel deserted
hopeful eyes gazing
life inverted
at the cross you plead
I`m converted
give me the strength I need
hope diverted
train tracks running
faith reverted
death is stunning.

I am amazed at your ability to have picked out that line, although I am quite aware of how detached it is. That is one part that is probably the most personal part of a very personal poem. I liked your response, please check out my other work, nad let me know what you think :)
