I thought it was pretty brilliant. It's like a more sophisticated version of google. You type in anything and it instantly gives you a bunch of scientific/historical/geographical/etc. information.

I used to frequent this site... perhaps the best I had come across for literature after a now-defunct un-moderated lit discussion group on MSN and before discovering LitNet. I haven't been on in a while... but it may be worth checking into:
