picture upload failed

I tried to upload a new picture in my albums but it wouldn't let me. I have resized the picture several times and also tried with an avatar-sized one just to make sure. I tried jpeg and bmp but it didn't like either. My folder is almost empty, it says I can still upload 57 pics. HEEEEELP! :confused:

I had that same issue too. Did all that resizing down to avatar too. It was to do with the capacity size and not the dimensions. (length and width) for some reason, copying the pics back onto my comp from photobucket had shrunk the size enough to add some pics... maybe try that?

what's capacity size? the amount of KB? it's less than 97,7 and it still won't load up :(

I'm having the same problem too. Resized down to under 80k. Didn't do any good either.

I experienced the same problem. An error message says "Picture upload failed", and mine were really small images :(

I've figured out why.

The server is going to go down starting about 3 AM eastern time tonight, and hopefully get fixed. It could be down 4 hours, or less.

it should be fixed, but it fixing it was discovered the server harddrive is suffering and may need to be replaced, that is going to cause significant downtime, but hopefully no dataloss.
