I'm doing a research paper about the influences BEHIND Dracula and its actually really frustrating since the only thing people talk about when it comes to Dracula are Dracula the character, the sexuality of Dracula, and a little (barely anything) on the foklores Stoker researched (without going in depth as to what they actually influenced). If anyone has some links or books they could direct me to it would be very much appreciated.

Hi! Maybe it's a bit late but three big literary influences on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" were:
"The Vampyre" a short story by John Polidori written in 1819
"Carmilla" a short story by Joseph Sheridan LeFanu written in 1872
"Thalaba, The Destroyer"a poem by Robert Southey written in 1801.

Hope this helps!! xD

Your post sounds as if you want your research done for you. You're going to have to do it yourself.
