Need help on an idea I'm thinking of,

Now I don't usually ask for help but !,

Now its set in the night,

My main character is a quiet college student who has just turned 18, His friends drag him out to a night club where they get refused entry and they get stuck outside,

They have a bad time and they decide to go for a drive around,
Now this is the tricky part some how uncliche I want to introduce a second main character a girl around his age and they kind of get together,

Now obviously as its me its not going to be that simple they wont end up together just like that !,

And they probably wont end up together at all, But ! for now I want to concentrate on how they meet etc,


I know it sounds crap ! but basically I want to make it a funny sad dark story,

Showing what being out feels like, Being somewhere you don't wanna be, Being someone you can't be etc,

I'm gonna work on a kind of twist to add to it to give it that etc kick but for now I just need to work on the foundation,

Please help me ! :)

Just write the story and see where it takes you. If you pigeon-hole yourself before you write the story you won't enjoy writing is as much, and the story itself will probably end up being stilted and linear. Draft it, then modify it.

Good point, Suppose I could create the characters and then start it,,,, hmm its gonna be a tricky one to think up :(, Thanks for your help
