It is society that creates prostitution.
It is society that institutionalize prostitution.
It is people in society that turn people into prostitutes.
It is society they label them as prostitutes.

The same people in the dark keep on creating prostitutes.
The same people in the light keep on abusing and punishing them.

What do you call this double standard society with double standard people.

Now maybe some people think about legalizing it.

Or some others il-legalizing for if they legalize it they cannot get bribes.

They want prostitutes in the night to satiate their lustful desires. In the day they get bribes to live sumptuously.

How do you understand it.

Maybe your understand is shaped and your belief is engineered by the same people.

They want you to oppose legalization of prostitution for if it is legalized they would be deprived of bribes.

Now tell me whether you want prostitution legalized or deemed illegal.

I do not think prostitutes are deliberately choosing. In a fair weather everyone plays the game sainthood, and when a circumstance demands no one can defend himself or herslef.

First let us unmask ourselves. Each one of us wears masks of society, civility, sagacity, chastity and the like. But beneath that all of us are secretly prostitutes or whores.

It is our habits, attitudes, values, customs, systems that need reversals.
We have to transform ourselves.

You have exposed some very "real" realities...(yeah, that was redundant)

Les Miserables,
Volume 1, Fifth Book, Chapter 3
Remember this, my friends: there are no such things as bad plants or bad men. There are only bad cultivators.

The idea (as highlighted above) is moving. It opens my eyes to realities. Maybe I have peeled off the cover to observe the core of truth.

The above line speaks volumes and I am dazzled.

Why is it that prostitution (by any name) is shunned by "civil society" or any society? I might understand perhaps in a specific and defined area where it is exists that NO sex outside of a marriage contract exists, not simply anti- sex for hire.

Otherwise, I see no point in their being laws and attitudes against it?
