Five favourite days in your life

1. Camden Canal, Israeli punks, a box if sidewalk chalk, and a hookah. Need I say more?
2. Gatwick Airport, International Arrival gates. This blond boy with a red beard and blue eyes comes through, sees me, and comes over and lifts me off my feet. Yeah... it was my boyfriend.
3. Trying horses for the first time in three years, this stupid chestnut Arab mare gallops off down the highway in Massey with me aboard. We take home the Ozman instead an hour later.
4. Sitting on the cliffs in Meldrum Bay, picnic, lighthouse, swimming in the fathoms, minuscule purple flowers and honeycomb rock.
5. Singing Tiny Dancer in an open top Mustang with cherry red leather interior, screaming along the highway on the way to NYC. Later we eat greasy pizza on Staten Island and look over the city in awe. Freakshow, RHPS at the Chelsea at Midnight, standing in the exact same spot as Joey Ramone.
