View Full Version : Costumes.
Okay so i have to go to a party in about a week. It's my friend and her sister's party. Their names are Anna and Claire and it is themed. We've been told to go as something that begins with A or C or as something from the 90's.
I'm a little stuck. I dont want to go all out because I can't really be bothered :goof: but i need ideas.
Cat? seems a little boring. Captain Planet - can't do that without the lame costume. I was thinking A Clockwork Orange because of the A - but i dunno how id pull that off. I'm dressing up with a friend. Circus seems to be the most popular option in my mind right now, i'd go as the ringmaster and my friend would be the lion but i dunno, gahhh ideas!?!

he and his friend were very 90's. the t-shirt would be easy, but after that, you'd have to do a great job on the hair. and forget about any romance happening, too, i'd imagine.
Nice.
I'm thinking of going as the Cheshire cat

Alvin the Chipmunk comes to mind.. I don't think that'd work but the A and C came up in my thoughts
Oh there's a book series called the Alvin Maker series, I don't know if you've read it or heard of it, by Orson Scott Card... long story. The hero is Alvin and he is a Maker because he's the 7th son of a 7th son, and his younger brother is also a 7th son, because their elder brother had just died a little bit before, anyway, the main character is Alvin and his younger brother is Calvin, so, A and C for you... Alvin was a blacksmith, it's a alternate history/ fantasy, set in the time... I think just before electricity or around that time.

I think you should go as something from the 90s! There have to be so many amusing possibilities.
If I had to have a costume as "something from the 90s" I'd either be Daria, or I'd be Clare Danes' character from My So-Called Life. You could be a 90s sitcom character. Or Nelson Mandela. Okay, I'm kidding about that last one, that would probably not be received very well.
But I like the Cheshire Cat idea a lot. :) . . . I mean :D
Alien
Or Alex from A Clockwork i'm thinking.
