yeah, actually, that was a good ending. i wasn't really into it until half-way, though, it took time for the words to actually amount to two characters in a situation. and i think most readers would be ready for more from these two (or at least one of them). it'd be a great scene early on in a larger story.

That wasn't just witty and delightful -- it was downright hilarious. I found myself laughing at almost everything the vampire said. The twist was really great, too. The vampire reminded me of Lord Henry Wotton.
