Unable to post a visitor message

Hi, I have this issue with one my friends.

Normally when somebody posts a visitor message for me I can post back a reply, but there's a friend who posted a visitor message and when I try to reply I have no option to do it. I enter the user's profile and the text box is not there, the send message menu is not there either so I can't even send a PM to this person... :(

Why is this happening? It happens with only one of my friends, with whom obviously I can't communicate and I haven't found an answer on the FAQ. Anyone care to enlighten me, please?

If it's with one of your friends who now have "Banned" under their forum name, that would be why you can't communicate with them anymore.

I see. So according to the rules I suppose this person was banned for improper behavior :(
