none.

What is your favorite book cover?
There’s a publication of Virginia Woolf’s “To The Lighthouse” where the book cover has a close-up picture of blue-gray river stones. It perhaps refers to the stones on the shore of the lighthouse; but to me it’s iconic of the rocks and stones that Woolf filled her pockets with when she committed suicide.

Most and least favorite characters from books?
Least favourite: Mr Rochester; most favourite: Hamlet. [I know “Hamlet” is a play and not a novel, but I’m hoping you’ll accept this as he’s my favourite]

And how will this question help me to forget it? I’ll answer it anyway: once a guy told me I’d never get another guy as good as he…well he was wrong obviously!

Tell us about some amusing translation mistake you have heard or made yourself.
I’m not multilingual, so this question doesn’t apply to me.

If you had to lose one of your senses, which would you choose and why?
My sense of smell, I guess.

my purpose of life: knowing that I’m trying to live a good life, so that I can achieve paradise in the afterlife.

What type of Faerie would you like to be and why?
Do I have to be a Faerie? Can’t I be an Elf?

What makes you laugh?
Ironies; my own idiocy; and seeing toddlers learn to talk

What was the happiest period of your life and why?
I think that most likely I’m living one of the happiest periods of my life right now: cause I’m engaged and very, very soon to be married [July 5th]

Do those animated smilies ever get tired?
Think of them day after day, dancing or crashing computers or laughing or crying till the end of time...
I hope the dancing banana breaks a leg – and I mean literally…cause he annoys me soo much! As for the others, I don’t see why they should be getting tired! Didn’t they read the job description? They knew what they were getting themselves into!

What part of “Final” don’t you understand?
Sorry, I’m not a literal girl. When I mean something literally, I actually have to indicate so. Other times I’m euphemistic, sarcastic, or suggestive ;-) Oh, what’s the question again? Final? What’s that?

One final word of wisdom for LitNet users?
Live your life with purity and goodness….you were so expecting me to say something like this, weren’t you! Well, here’s my advice: pay attention to things around you: it can save your life – literally.

What would you like to ask to the person to be interviewed after you?
I have two questions for them [am I allowed two?]:
1. What do you think is the purpose of life?

Happy (belated) birthday, Tournesol - sorry I missed it, but I hope you had a good one!
By the way, carry no shame in having named your car, Jesse, as I have names for many objects in my life, too, such as my prized bicycle, Oliver. :D
