constant dark fell upon those windows
until the only light of moon affixes its beam;
of a dead night, i would be a life
as my vision is reflected in the still fluid.

concealed imagination revealed
for that bawdy waves traced of a portal to the moon
and the light made the tree limbs wince.

endure enough to fall
until physiognomy alone its dead
than the face itself;
lose enouggh to tune
for an accordion has parted the diptych
or portraying an image beneath
and reveal as an allegory
for i would say you have lived enough.

Did you write it last night 3 am?? If yes-- how wonderful that we both were twisting our nocturnal pens at that time of the night, together!

This reminds me of wallace stevens and his "emperor of ice cream". That last line (and AGAIN you're doing this! it's SO not me you know!) comes so sudden and it actually cuts through when it comes.
