Hey, so I know that starting a new thread immediatly upon joining a forum isn't the best forum ettiquette, but I have a very very specific question I was hoping someone could help me with.

I'm going to the library in a bit, and I wondered if anyone could point me in the direction of a good noir and/or steampunk book. I'm not sure this combination even exists, I was just hoping, and I couldn't find any myself.

I know this probably isn't the sort of first impression one should look to make on what looks to be a fairly classy forum, but malt does more than Milton can.

To be honest I haven't got a clue what a "steampunk" book is, let alone recommend one, sorry.

I'm not certain about a noir/steampunk combination, but for good noir, you may try anything by James M. Cain or Raymond Chandler. I have read all of Cain and Chandler's books and highly recommend them.
