The boy watched the fast asleep girl through the gazing fire. He stood up. Two men dressed completely in black pounced out of black swirls. He unsheathed his four ft. sword.
"Always ready for a fight, aren't you?" one man asked.
He smirked. He jumped towards the men swinging his sword in front of him. The men grinned. The man on the left pulled a gun and began shooting at him as the other one slowly faded away. He slammed the flat of his sword into the man's stomach. The man flew back seven feet and landed softly on the tip of his toes. Then taking in a deep breath he began slowly floating up, but keeping his gaze on Him. But his attention slowly turned to the sleeping girl. He grinned then slowly disappeared. He murmured and cursed. Always running away.
He flopped himself on the ground where he had stood before. He scanned his surroundings. The shining blue floating trees glittered in the moonlight. Gorgeous, he thought.
He laid his head on the floor. His eyelids slowly shut. Tomorrow is a new adventure. With those last thoughts he fell into soothing dream.
Fiina stretched her arms forward. Then looked out her bedroom window, the sun was already high above the smalls village buildings. She sighed, eight more days of summer vacation. A knock came from outside her door.
"Fiina? Are you up yet?" Her mother's voice rang through the door.
She stretched again, "Almost," She said, then hopped out of bed.
After getting dressed in a knee lengthen white dress, with a maroon sash around her waist she slid her white slippers on. She ran in front of the mirror and put her light blue hair into a side ponytail. She washed her pail face and dried it than ran down stairs. When she reached the bottom her mother was greeting some guest for the hotel they owned. The woman laughed and grabbed onto the man next to her. Her mother turned around a gestured for her to come and say her greetings. Fiina walked up to her mother's side, she crossed her hands and bowed slightly to their guest. The lady bowed also and the man nodded.
"This is my daughter Fiina." She explained. "Fiina, meet the Hidaka's, their going to be our guest for the fortnight."
Fiina bowed again. "That's nice to hear. I hope you enjoy your stay here."
The lady smiled and brushed back her yellow hair, "thank you."
"The man smiled then said, "You have a very charming girl, Mrs. Shing. I have a feeling we'll enjoy our stay very much.
"Fiina, show Mr. and Mrs. Hidaka there bedroom please." Her mother bowed to the young couple then left towards the kitchen.
"This way please." Fiina gestured towards the upstairs. The couple followed her instruction and started up the stairs.
After showing Hidaka's there room, Fiina ran down stairs and into the dining room and prepared the table.
She froze. A man dressed in a black coat stood across from the table. He had his arms crossed. And a hood was covering his face so she couldn't identify his looks.
"M- may I help you?" His sudden appearance startled her. Normally a guest would wait in the patty room for directions. And his clothing gave her the spooks. He remained silent. This didn't make his presence any more comforting. She placed the forks on the table.
Again she asked, "May I help you?" This time her voice was more demanding.
He slowly looked up. He had white skin with long black falling in front of his face covering his eyes. "Fiina."
Fiina stiffened. How did he know her name? She at a snail's pace backed up toward the kitchen door, she never took her eyes off him incase he tries to do something. "Mom," She yelled quietly.
"Yes dear?" He mom answered.
Fiina gasped, the man vanished the second she blinked. Nothing remained to have evidence he was ever there. "N- nothing, never mind, my mind was just playing tricks on me."

After breakfast the guest retired upstairs, her mom stayed home to clean and Fiina went out for her dance lessons. Since the age three Fiina had a knack for dancing.
She opened the door to the dance room and peeped her head through. Nobody was there quite yet. She smiled. She liked being early. It gave her a head start to practice, before anybody came.
She placed her bag on the ground in the girls changing room. She unzipped the top zipper and pulled her warming up outfit out. She walked into a stall and began changing. She slipped her dancing slippers on and walked into the dancing area. She did five minutes of stretches then she went into position.
She bowed her head down to her knees. A few seconds passed then she leaped into the air extending her head back. She landed on her tiptoes, and then twirled. She stretched her right leg back as far as it would go. She started to jump to switch feet but her foot fell from underneath her and she lost her footing.
She fell on her knees. She moaned. A sharp pain ran up her legs as they collided with the ground. Laughter erupted from behind her. The other class students arrived.
Fiina stood up and turned around. Her teacher looked at her. "You were supposed to have known that dance move last week, Fiina." He said.
Fiina bowed. "Yes, my mother and I have been busy of the late though." She explained.
"Well," He began, "If you're going to be so busy, I'd advice you not come at all." With his finale, piercing, words he walked by Fiina.
Fiina was stunned. Not come to dance. Had she heard correctly? Her eyes became watery. She placed her hand on her chest. Her heart was beating hard.
"Fiina, please line up with the rest of the class." The teacher asked impatience in his tone.
The tears finally streamed down her cheeks. She ran out of the building. The wind flipping her hair in different directions.
She ran to an old ruin church which she often came to think. She stayed there for a couple of hours when she finally decided dance lessons were finally over and she could go home.
"It does hurt when someone puts you down." Fiina spun around her tears flying off her face. The man in the black cloak stood there. This time she saw his horrifying face. White skin, with dark hair falling all over his face, his red eyes intensely looking at her.
Her heart skipped a beat. "Who-who are you?" She asked.
"That is no importance. But it's important who you are." His voice was chilling.
Fiina slowly took steps back.
"Oh, don't leave yet." He disappeared. Fiina looked around hoping he was gone, for good. She sighed in relief, whoever he was, he was now gone. She turned around to head home. She leaped back and landed on her back. She groaned as her back began protesting with her fall. "I said don't leave." She looked up at his face.
"Who are you?" She insisted. Why was he fallowing her?
"No importance."
"Why are you fallowing me around?" She exclaimed new tears wetting her eyes.
"Don't cry." He paused, "I've come hear for your power."
Fiina's eyes widened.
"Don't act as if you don't understand what I'm talking about; I know you know." He smiled and crouched down where he was face to face with her. "I'm not in the mood for kid games."
"But-but, how?"
"It is no importance."
Fiina looked at her passageways for a runaway. Once she saw an opening she dashed for it. The man cursed. He reached to grab her arm but missed her by inches.
Fiina didn't look behind, afraid he might be there. She ran until her feet couldn't endure her weight then collapsed onto the ground. Her breathing was quick and it was practically impossible to swallow. She let herself lay on the ground until her breath was at a reasonable pace.
A woman on her right went on his knees next to her. "Are you alright?"
Fiina blushed. A crowd of people stood around starring at her. She jumped up and bowed to the woman. "Thank you sir. I'm fine." She bowed a second time and ran into her house direction.
The second she shut the door behind her she crouched down and hugged her knees. Who was that man? And… and how did he know?
"Fiina? Is that you?" Her mothers walked inside the room and looked at her pail daughter. "What happened?" She cried out. The Hidaka's walked down the stair to see the commotion.
"Is everything alright?" Mr. Hidaka asked.
Fiina stood up and tried to bow and apologies for the interruption, but instead fell on her knees. Her mother caught her by under her arms. "Fiina what happened?" Her mother inquired, her voice caring a note of fret.
Fiina just shook her head unable to speak. Mr. Hidaka swooped her up and said, "I'll carry her up to her room. Teresa and Mrs. Shing I think you two should make some tea for her."
The two ladies nodded and scrambled into the kitchen. And Mr. carried her into her bedroom. He walked out and shut the door behind himself leaving Fiina lying on the bed. She crouched into a ball.

Her mother came up a while later caring a tray with tea. She looked at her daughter, she was fast asleep. She smiled at her daughter and set the tray on the table next to her bed then walked out shutting the door quietly behind her.
Darkness surrounded Fiina . There seemed to be no wall or floors, only sheer darkness. Fiina took a step forward and a gust of wind blew from the floor. Fiina covered her face from the cool air. Blue shimmering lights descended from air like snow. They never stopped falling, they even fell past Fiina . And yet she didn't fall with them. Fiina whole body trembled with terror. "Where am I?" she marveled. She walked forward and was relieved when no more wind descended from the ground.
She explored the darkness; underneath her was glass that appeared every time she took a step forward. Fiina stared in awe. Ahead was a blue light, just like the others, but this light stood still and moved not. Fiina pondered a moment if she should walk toward it. And out of courage she began walking toward this light. The light was only the size of a child's hand. She reached forward to touch it.
"I am Oriti." The sphere said, its voice as beautiful as winters’ snow. "Fiina . Fiina we need your help. Fiina! Fiina!"
Fiina shrieked. She jerked up write. "What…?"
The boy dodged a kick from the side. He cursed. To slow. The creatures were to fast. He ran and jumped thirty feet up. His sword high above his head. The creatures jumped after him. He yelled loudly. He slammed the sword ahead of him, he hit a few wounding them in half. He skidded against the ground. He sat up on his knees and spit the dirt out. He spun around and stabbed a creature in the heart. The monster screamed in agony. The creature all began screeching.
Thud. Thud.
He looked up. A giant one of the creatures stood a few feet away from himself. He swallowed firm. He jumped. High as he could manage. The creature smiled revealing pink flesh. It shrieked loudly. It swung its paw like hands at Him. He swiftly dodge it and used for a ramp up to its face. He held his sword at his side ready to swing it at the monsters face. As the monster moved to a position to hit Him again with his other arm, he sped up. He yelled loudly and swung his sword hitting the creature in the chin. The creature shrieked and began flying up with its massive wings. The creatures fallowed the leader jumping then began flapping there wings. To sore to jump the boy let himself fall to the ground. He landed on his side. He didn't stir his body hurt all over. The sweat on his face dripped on the floor. He tried push up but it hurt too much. He collapsed onto the ground again. He groaned.
Fiina stared blankly down. Who was that boy? His age was noticeably thirteen or fourteen. His identity was too hard to see because of him moving to much.

Fiina stood up. She looked out the window. It was night. She grabbed her jacket and slipped out into the hallway. Her mothers and the Hidaka's room doors were shut. She walked down stairs. She made she didn't Lock the doors for when she came back.
When she finally reached the Ruin church she sat down and stretched. After a few min. of stretching she got into position of a dance.
Sweat dripped off her forehead. She spun around. She jumped up extending her hands over head.
She paused when she landed. She felt someone grab her hand. Her heart stopped. She was spun around and then faced her friend Dome. HE smiled. "May I have the honor of this dance?" She smiled back.
"Yes."
HE spun her around in place. He picked her off the ground and stabled her over his head for a few and placed her down.
"You've gotten better." He said ruffling her hair. Dome was three years older than Fiina.
"My teacher doesn't think so." She said. "But thank you." She bowed.
He nodded. "What does he know?" He chuckled. "I taught myself how to dance."
"I wish you could teach me." She said lowering her head and blushing a little.
"I wish I could to; but I have work and such matters." He paused. He placed a foot behind himself and stretched his arm towards her. "A little lesson wouldn't do much but it is worth a shot." He smiled.
She placed her hand on his hand. He spun her in next to his chest. The position was awkward for Fiina. He spun her out. She leaped up and landed on her tiptoes. She spun around a few times and leaped back into his grip.
"Are you going to college for more dance lessons?" Fiina asked later as the sat on top of the church.
He shrugged and sighed. "I don't know. My dad isn't getting enough money off of selling shoes and my moms garden isn't doing so well."
"Mm. I see." Fiina lowered her head. "Sorry to hear that."
They sat there for another few minutes until the sun started to appear over the buildings.
"Well I have to go." Dome explained standing up. He began climbing down the church. He helped Fiina down. She turned to walk away but he didn't let his grasp off of her. She looked at him a bit surprised he didn't let go. He looked at her directly in the eyes. "Will you do the Mohi dance with me?"
More surprised than ever, she nodded. The Mohi dance was a yearly dance that her people did honor of the men that fought in the war for the small city.
He smiled and walked away.
Fiina stared at him for awhile until she noticed that her mother would become aware of her absence. She turned and started running home.
"Ah!" She fell flat on her bum.
"Oh, sorry." The boy she ran into apologized leaning over to her. She opened her eyes and looked at him. She gawked at him. His blond hair fell in front of his emerald eyes. His skin was a light tan. He smiled. His smile was beautiful. "Are you alright?"
He raised an eyebrow when she didn't reply. He repeated "Are you ok?"
"Eh!" She became aware of her insolence. She jumped up and began bowing repeatedly. "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" She flushed.
He stood up and grabbed her shoulders to stop her bowing. "You can stop now." He informed. His voice was stern but civil.
She looked up at him, her face burning red.
A cricket smile played across his lips. "My name is Roayx." He explained.
She took a couple of steps out of his grip. She bowed once.
"Fiina." She said.
"Nice to meet you Fiina." He skidded back as she took off into a run.
"I need to get home!" She exclaimed. She glanced behind. He starred at her and scratched the back of his head. He seemed a little baffled.
She clicked the door shut behind her.
She dashed up to her room. She lost her footing and fell on her chin. She groaned.
"Miss Fiina?"
She looked up squinting one eye. Mrs. Hidaka looked down at her.
Fiina stood up. She slop fully bowed and slid past Mrs. Hidaka into her room.

Fiina slumped onto the bed.
A knock erupted from outside. She sighed.
"Good morning." She could hear her mothers voice say to somebody. "Come right in young man."
Five minutes or so later her mother walked in. "There's a new guest. A young boy named Roayx."
"Fiina's eyes widened."How long is he staying?" She inquired.
Her mother seemed surprised with her question. "I don't know darling."
Fiina frowned. How could she face the person she totally gawked at awhile ago. Maybe he won't remember who I am? "I'll be down in a minute."
Her mother nodded and walked out leaving the door wide open. Fiina stood up and shut the door then walked through the hallway.
"Always ready for a fight, aren't you?" one man asked.
