This is a safe place for Basil.

This is a place where Basil doesn't have to worry about the Bad Man.

No Bad Man, No Bad Thoughts, No Bad Touch.

Happy Place! Happy Smiling Place for Basil!

Greetings, Mr. Bear. How pleasant to see such a modest mammal providing a 'safe place' for Basil. :)
Just out of curiosity, however, of which 'Bad Man' do you speak?

Basil

Mr. Bear,

Does Mr. Basil suffer from paranoia? Does he need to borrow a slice of Mr. Bongbong's sizeable ego to help him out?

On a personal note, Mr. Bear, is Mr. Basil paying you sufficiently to look so cursedly cute n' cuddly?

Either way, do keep Mr. Basil feeling safe and secure. We can even offer to crochet a blankie if you think it would help.

No bad man, no bad thoughts, nothing is going to save us from the safety of the absense of the bad man now!

will he not pursue us here?

Always running, from something.

Is Mr. Squirrel related to this squirrel:

(Please do not click if you are easily offended or young Master Bongbong who is too few in years to view such things)

PS: Incidentally it is called Basil as well :p (Check the site (http://www.oldorchardatstockdale.com/natural-colored-sheep.htm) out):

Basil has a great fleece that is consistent throughout and is a lovely soft silver color.
I think he is the insipration behind these Baasil range toy boxes and bookmarks as well:

Well, seeing that Kik posted twice in that thread and one of the posts was "Well said" my guess would be the observation above (in the said thread). Follow the white rabbit (http://www.online-literature.com/forums/showpost.php?p=57678&postcount=4) :D

good evening Mr Bear.

Anyone for a spot of tea perchance?

rachel
05-18-2006, 01:59 PM
ooh tea, how lovely.
Mr. Bear, do you need any of us to help keep our Basil safe? I have a few friends, and although I am not weapon handy I CAN scream rather loudly to shoo away the bad man if need be.
As for the spot of tea, I brought a cake kind person, will you both have some then?

Mr. Bear ate an innocent monkey a few days ago.

Basil

So it seems.

rachel
05-18-2006, 03:34 PM
well that is depressing.
Basil, what about this: I picked this alien spacecraft up for a song a StarTreck convention a couple of years ago. A friend owns a football field and has been keeping it there for me. It runs well and well I give it to you. Is that safe enough do you think?

miss tenderness
05-19-2006, 04:30 PM
wow, I'm in Basil's safe place!!

am I safe too?or it's just you:)

rachel
05-20-2006, 12:48 PM
As long as Rachel is here you are both safe. I am sleeping over now, have a tent and a good strong flashlight. no more eaten monkeys or disturbed Basils and now misstendernesses. Sleep well dears.(yikes....what was that? ....trembles and grabs copy of Archie comics to soothe her)

It may be safe for now, but the wolves are looking on at waiting for an opportunity.

oh they are so pretty and dear. I take out my pan pipes and play them a tune and in no time they have joined forces with me and are my watchmen. I lay my head upon the leader and we all sleep in peace.

Miss Smilla pour out steaming cups of tea (Chamomile, Green or Russian Caravan) and passes around pieces of freshly butterd hot toast as she waits for events to unfold....
