*NOTE* I'm currently reading Homer so I just had to experiment with dactylic hexameter; so keep in mind this is JUST an experiment.
Waiting in silence and marking the dead time; Feeling the cold night
Pushing around me; Huddled in corners with spirits and moonlight:
What is there left anymore that can heal this elusive and dull pain?
Dread fear covers me; beating her damned black wings in the still air,
Arching them over a thunderous heartbeat; beating the Earth’s heart.
Gladly I’ll drown in the pitch pool; swim the abyss to the far shore.
There, time, ceases to be; all life and existence a blurred shade.
Stalking the shadows I’ve found home; Comfort in nothing and death’s peace.
