The Venus Effect ( a nothing or something poem) - by ~Sophia~

first the fingers and thumbs fumbled
mumbled alt, shift, return and then
nobody or somebody flipped the switch
and when the lights went out in the window across the square
I knew no one or someone was there

and me all uffish backwards
frabjous tove galumphing

two leaps of faith - halfway to the middle
six brooks to cross is not a lot

the secret to wading wooly water
encrypted - soft boil an egg, crack its shell
cut the checkered cake in three

and in the silvering slivers between the hours
am I looking at me or looking at you looking at me
or is it nothing or something only a red heart can see

“curiouser and curiouser”

I must admit I don't fully grasp it. However, I am definitely intrigued.

Hi Adrian! Think a touch of Kobo Abe, a hint of Beckett, definitely Alice, chess games and of course, the Venus Effect. I know, I'm crazy! LOL
