I love that there are so many! Reading now...Hey, where didja go without voting?

:D

Joking aside, Shannanigan, I would really like to thank you... You have always made an effort to vote in the polls since the beginning of the competition :)

Sorry, had to pause the reading to sell some yearbooks and got sidetracked, and haven't had internet access again until now :) But I'm back!

And you're welcome! It helps that I just love reading short stories, and that I like to remain active so that I can keep myself encouraged to compete...I actually got another story idea today that I might submit this year :D

Thanks everyone who has been voting but we really do need more votes - considering the number of stories in the competition this round.

11 days into June. 10 votes, total. That's less than one per day, with three stories not even receiving one vote. If people are not going to vote, why even have the contest? Get with it!

Pen, I'll get to it tomorrow. I've had some extra kids at my house for the past ... I lost track of how long. I'll have ZERO kids tomorrow!

So much to read this time around! I've just finished the first three stories, will cast my vote tomorrow after reading the remaining ... 3? 4?

Good luck to all!

Gah! It's so surprisingly busy for being the end of the school year over here! I keep starting and stopping, but I will vote, cross my heart! (By the way, the movie "UP" was sooo adorable!)

Which were the two favourites?

Am I allowed to ask that?

What a great surprise to see so many stories entered! It was most difficult indeed to select one winner from such impressive writing.

Finally I'm able to make it back and read. I've missed the other eliminations because I've not had time to sit down and read the stories. This was a good bunch, and I'm glad I was able to read them all.

Are we still allowed to post non-winning stories from the Elimination for feedback?

Yes, you can post the stories that took part in the competition (apart from "Unhinged", of course).
