i just read his santaland diaries yesterday in a few hours and just fell in love with his style, its witty and interesting and god so refreshing to read a writer who is just that good! his story "season's greetings" struck me as brilliant, it's a 20th century fin de siecle take on poe's "the tell tale heart" and was so imaginative and driven. his other stories are brilliant too ranging from real life observations to far out absurdist stories in the vein of gogol. if anyones not read sedaris then check him out for a good time! anyone else read/like him?
