Lit junkie!

So yeah, I googled literature forums and found this one, which looks pretty sweet. I never know what to say in these posts so I'll just get the necessary introduction-y stuff out of the way now:

I'm a teenage girl, living in Scotland where it's overcast pretty much all the time. Which is weird for me as I was actually raised in the midwestern USA. I speak some French and a very tiny bit of Japanese, and English obviously. I do some writing, mostly poetry, but I've started (trying) to write fiction too. I'm a literature junkie, I really am, if it weren't for my library card I'd be completely broke. Aaaaaaaaaaand I have a huge crush on my English teacher.

And I like making friends. So...welcome me, please?

I can relate to crushing on my lit professors. Especially the readers...grad students who help with the professor with grading. To be fair, most of my profs were female, but I had two male ones and an Italian professor who were easy on the eyes.
