The first thought as I stepped into the classroom was Is he ignoring me? Again, he wasn't in his seat as he wasn't for the past six days. I've seen him in the halls, though. Each time he'd pass my way, I'd inhale the scent of men's body spray, almost tasting it. Sometimes his eyes never met mine. That made my heart sink. Moments when I felt he saw his reflection in the depths of my eyes gave me hope. Hope that he still remembers our secret. That he replays it in his head from time to time. That hope only reached a certain extent; then I was back to praying he'd notice me again.

I sat in my seat, placed my books in front of me and greeted my neighbor. Her smile mirrored on my face, so I guessed she didn't see the hurt in my eyes. Between minutes, I'd look to his seat; empty and untouched. My eyebrows, like the opposite sides of a magnet, pulled together in a sad expression. I just down right missed him.

His hair, not grown completely, but enough to be spiked up. His big, brown eyes that left me in some kind of trance that I never seemed to break free of. He wasn't slim, but it wouldn't've fit his personality if he were. Instead, he was tall with meat on his bones--not too much meat-- which made his hugs all the more memorable.

He had money--a lot of money-- but his money was more like some out-of-date object that won over no intrest in me. I just wanted [I]him[I]--I just want him.
