Is there hope that at sometime everything will be OK. Well being 45 years old I have been through a lot of skids in life and thought that it would never be right again. You know what I found is, it always turns out OK in the end.
As a American born citizen I know we have been spoiled by the riches in the United States. We have enjoyed easy living for far too long. As veteran I know what it is like to put my life on the line for the freedom we have grown accustom to.
War is very devastating thing and should not ever happen without any other recourse. I personally believe that the Tali ban deserved what they got but the war in Iraq was a fluke. I am not saying that I wouldn't have fought in the war because of my loyalty to my country. I just believe it could have been avoided. Why not just send someone in to assignate Saddam Hussein and save all the money and lives that were spent to fight a war that will never end. It will just move to other places.
I really believe the recession we are going through is a backlash from us trying to force our beliefs on someone else. We have to pay the price for our wrong doings. I really don't have a like or dislike for President Obama but he is right about the war in Iraq being wrong for our country and we haven't had all the backlashes we going to get yet. When we finally right our wrongs and get out of there we will be OK again. I really feel at this time Obama is doing good things to get us on track. We have got to have faith in America and our people to remain to be strong.
We all are hurting from the economy sucking. I have been hit from the banking crisis keeping industrial plants from getting funding to upgrade their facilities, this kills construction. Jobs being lost because of lack projects being started. Of course we all have been hit with retirements being drained by the drop in the stock market. Have hope that it will be like all other incidents in past times and work itself out. There is not just one person or thing that can pull us out of this recession, only time will effect it.
I must look at it as I am one of the lucky ones for now. My hours have been cut in half but I still have insurance. This is better than being laid off. Please we must not bottle our frustrations up. This Website could be a way to let it out and tell people about yourself. It helps sometimes to know you are not in this alone. Please if you have been cut short and are pissed off about what is happening get it out there. Keeping it inside will have an effect on your personal life and possibly produce marital problems. This Website is forum to be able to let your aggravations out and read others. Some probably will break your heart, but remember as bad as it may be, there is someone out there with the same or worse problems. Things will be OK, just keep your hope and faith in the world to be strong.
