I think that I only have two motivators that are strong and consistant, and that I'm aware of (I probably have a lot of unconcious motivators, like everybody):
1. A sharp, constant awareness of my mortality, and;
2. An uncontrollable need to ask questions and figure things out. I don't know why I need to know, its an intrinsic thing. Even if the truth is horrible, I want it.

To love a little more: my parents... and the thought of the wife I have yet not met.

Heeey, it's been a long time since I posted on this thread. Look at me, I've been around long enough to see one of my posts "revived." Anyway...



be a better person?

-World History (I guess I kind of overcompensate for bad things that have happened to people before I was born)
-The general feeling that I get when I see people hurting other people, sort of a blend of nausea and anger.
-My grandparents, who seem to think that I'm going to single handedly change the world.
-To be better physically: just the knowledge that I'd be more useful if I were strong enough to remove the lid from my own pickle jar.


get out of bed in the morning?
-My radio alarm comes on and it always says interesting stuff.
-My dad blaring his music.
-The fact that I have to get to work/feed a bird or animal that I'm taking care of/feed my dad.
-A book that I was reading really late into the night until my eyes got blurry, then put away with the promise to myself that I could read the rest as soon as I wake up.

-Journal: So that I can look back at myself in the future and see how much I've changed.

In order to get out of the bed in the morning ... I think in my daily work and I feel that I won't waste my day.
