the cookie cutter image
of what im supposed to be
often comes in conflict
with what I feel inside of me
the world I live in
all these people stuck in a box
and if you try to show the way
you could find yourself in a boat that rocks
so rarely do you see
any person thinking on their own
so often the ways of propaganda
are the only ways shown
egnorance is bliss they say
so many nights I wish I were
to be among the people each day
to feel no emotion to feel no inner stir
life would be easyer in the box i think
to conform to society and not even know it
to have all thought outside the box extinct
that would make life easyer i think
