O Love

In my heart there is a garden.
Creepers of love and devotion have been
growing for years.
I am filled with love, for my one true beloved.
I am filled with calm, power, and bliss.

I came from simplicity, Lord, and I am now
a little complicated.
Take me back into your fold, let me find
the unity of all this multiplicity.

How many of your secrets have I learned,
but lost? I am enthralled,
entranced, engrossed,
and I am loved.

You are before me, and have always
been beside me.
How many times you have guided me safely!
How many times would I have given all,
just to surrender, just to give all to you.

How many times have I burned with the desire for peace,
the desire to explain that all is so simple!
How many times have I burned with the desire to grab and hold the hand of a friend,
to say,
O, peace, O bliss, that is in store for you.

O love.

Strawberry Fields Forever

"Light a candle, curse the glare..."

"Paint a tilak on your brow,
Open like a lotus flower,
it's time to check your karma now..."

I sing, and what was a blight, is vanished.
I sing, and before me is this infinite beauty.
I sing, and all blight is gone, and only strength and beauty remain.
I sing, and I am one, at perfect peace, in perfect bliss.
I sing, I am nothing, the reflection of all points, a mirror of all.
I sing, and I am love, I am beauty, I am bliss.
I sing, and there is only one in my mind, and my heart, and I am completely, and only, hers.
